A Same Day Transformation Glamour Shoot in Bali with Ana

It isn't easy to be glamorous in Bali. It can be a harsh place with the traffic and the weather. Women who live here mostly dress for the weather and for comfort. The humidity plays havoc with you hair so tied back is the best option and makeup can just slide of your face.  Ana came to my studio on her bike and she was dressed to handle the extreme traffic and weather. She was travelling and in Bali on an extended stay from Russia! 

Having the pampering makeover was such a thrill for Ana as said she hadn't thought about her feminine side for quite a while!

After chatting and deciding on the wardrobe and makeup style it was into the makeup chair. Ana wanted the works so it was contouring and eyelashes as well as curls for the hair!

I love to watch these transformations and the confidence that can come to someone when they start to feel good about their appearance. Also the realisation that "Hey! I can have this celebrity look if I want it. There isn't any difference between the everyday person and the celebrity! They just do this all the time! Once its time to start shooting when a person feels good about them selves they are more likely to pose and ham it up a bit. Its all about having fun and being creative on the day. Every shoot is different and you never know exactly what is going to come out of it.

With Anna we mapped out the clothing and the hair style. She mainly chose clothing from our wardrobe as she was travelling and didn't have anything apart from travelling clothes with her.

Ana went for a feminine glamorous style and the transformation was incredible! Not just the difference once she was made up and styled with wardrobe but the sense of confidence she exuded. I think its easy for women to get caught up in what they are doing and forget about the other sides to their personality that they really do appreciate. 

Ana said she felt like a princess and loved being the centre of attention. When she left she kept the
 makeup on and had plans to go out on the town that night to show it off!
